Terms and Conditions

Delivery – Deliveries normally take place in the morning (unless agreed otherwise) but no specific time can be given. Sometimes we can give a rough time but it is dependent on the number of deliveries we have. The brownie box does not fit through a letterbox so please ensure that there is a) someone home when we deliver or b) there is somewhere safe to leave them (please advise when ordering). Brownie Points reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee for failed/multiple delivery attempts.

Gluten Free/Dairy Free – We can bake a chocolate brownie using gluten free/dairy free ingredients but they are made in the same kitchen and whilst every effort is made, cross contamination may occur.

Nuts – Our kitchen is NOT nut free. Flavours that contain actual nuts are clearly marked with nut stickers on the box. Other flavours may contain nut traces. If you have a nut allergy please advise at the time of ordering. Triple Chocolate brownies are nut free in ingredients but if you have a severe allergy you must specify so steps can be taken to ensure no cross-contamination. On our market stalls we cannot guarantee that any flavour is nut free due to the risk of cross-contamination when handling the brownies.

Wedding tiers and favours – a copy of our terms and conditions will be sent with your deposit invoice.

Payment – brownie orders should be paid for before delivery unless alternative arrangements have been made. Brownie Points reserves the right to cancel any order not paid for by the time of delivery. Payment can be made by bank transfer, details given on ordering. For popular days (Valentines, Mother's Day etc payment may be due by a particular date specified at time of ordering. Non-Payment by this date may result in your space being offered to the waiting list).

Deposits - for large orders of tiers/favour boxes/brownies over £100 a 50% deposit is required to secure your date and order. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation up to 60 days before - 100% deposit refund
Cancellation up to 30 days before - 50% deposit refund
Cancellation less than 30 days before - 25% deposit refund

Cancellations - If you have already paid for your brownies in full and then cancel or need to rearrange, please note we do not offer refunds only credit notes. The credit can be used against as future orders

At Brownie Points we take every precaution to protect your Personal Information. Information such as your name, address, place of work, email address and contact numbers are only used for the purpose of delivering your order and invoicing. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your information in this way. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.

We promise to never sell, rent or otherwise share this information with third parties. This applies to all orders whether they come from this website, email, Facebook or by telephone.

Procedures are in place to prevent your Personal Information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way.

Your rights

Data Subject Access Request - enables you to receive a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you and check that we are lawfully processing it.

Request erasure of Personal Information - enables you to ask us to delete or remove Personal Information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.

Right to withdraw consent - where you have provided your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your Personal Information for a specific purpose (i.e. a delivery) you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose you originally agreed to

We will only retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your Personal Information
